The exhibition was held within the framework of the project of the Regional Branch of TSHR for the Nizhny Novgorod Region “Rod. Homeland. People". Why is it important - expert opinion Studying folk arts and crafts reveals a colorful world created by generations of craftsmen. One of the most common techniques of decorative creativity is painting. Oleg Kumagin created paintings on the theme of folk paintings in an abstract style, connecting them with the history and traditions of the peoples of Russia, with subsequent processing by a neural network. His technique conveys the character of folk art in a modern and creative way. Abstract forms of paintings, based on the works of masters of Russian national artistic crafts, look bright, rich, expressive and help to take a fresh look at familiar classical patterns. The creative value of the project lies in its unique creative solution - in the application and use of artistic techniques of modern art and artificial intelligence in synthesis with folk art techniques.
